Welcome to Roseneath
We launched Roseneath Virtual School in 2024, offering Waldorf-inspired learning with experienced teacher guides, asynchronous and on-demand live online classes, and a supportive homeschool community.
RSV is here to help families provide their children with the best education possible in a context that suits family circumstances and students’ individual needs and strengths.
Our focus is on learners in grades 8–12. RSV is designed primarily, although not exclusively, for Ontario-based homeschooling and worldschooling families.

We believe at our core that the strength of a family lies in the stewardship it holds for one another. That stewardship begins with conscious parenting and continues with a conscious education.
RSV was founded in 2022 by Loren Kuich, an entrepreneur and educator with a passion for alternative models of education. Loren works with a dedicated team of teachers, each responsible for a core set of subjects.

Questions about Waldorf learning
What is Waldorf education?
Waldorf education brings academic, artistic, and practical learning together, with an emphasis on children’s developmental stages. It grew from Rudolf Steiner’s educational ideas and his philosophy of anthroposophy. Lessons aim to engage thinking, feeling, and purposeful activity—often described as “head, heart, and hands.”
Why are the arts part of everyday learning?
Drawing, painting, music, drama, and practical work offer different ways to explore a subject. In Waldorf education, the arts are woven into academic lessons as well as studied in their own right.
What does Waldorf learning look like for older students?
In the secondary years, students are encouraged to question, investigate, and form independent judgements. Academic study continues alongside the arts, practical projects, discussion, and community involvement. Essays, research, presentations, and self-reflection can all contribute to assessment.
Which grades will RSV serve?
Grades 8–12, with a Waldorf-inspired approach for homeschooling and worldschooling families.
How will online learning work?
Our learning model combines asynchronous lessons with on-demand live online classes and teacher guidance. It is designed to make room for different family circumstances and students’ individual needs.
